Tanja Dwire

Tanja was born and raised in Perham MN, graduating in 1994.  She married her husband Jeremiah in 2008.  They have six children, Cameron, Emily, Madelyn, Lydia, Faith, and Elaina, all of who are passionate about God & serving Him.

In 2013 Jeremiah and Tanja started a ministry in Haiti to work with widows and single moms, where they have a full operating Haitian staff to oversee the hands-on ministry that is happening in Haiti. Unfortunately, with the unrest, she is not able to travel to Haiti to help provide discipleship & prayer to rejuvenate their spiritual life, and administration needs or provide respite for the staff.

Tanja started at Verndale Area Christian Academy (VACA) as a para in 2022.  She transitioned to the Search and Teach Educational Therapy position for the 23/24 school year. She has a passion to lead, pray, invest & encourage the students in their daily lives & academics.

Before coming onto the staff at Verndale Family Life Church, Tanja & Jeremiah had been passionate about serving. She has helped and led in a lot of areas at the church from PreSchool to Toddlers to Celebrate Recovery Celebration Place to Reset team to Youth Group. Their heart is to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
