he Bible says in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
God created us to have a relationship with him, but sin entered the world and separated us from God. If we want to have our relationship restored with God, we need a Savior and that is why God sent his only son Jesus Christ to die for our sins.
God sent Jesus as a free gift to us but we need to accept the gift. Have you accepted Christ? If not, simply pray and receive him into your life today.
“Dear God, I confess that I am a sinner and I need you. I believe Jesus died to pay the penalty for my sin and that he rose again from the dead. I accept your free gift of forgiveness and salvation, and I ask you to be the leader of my life. I’m turning away from doing things my own way. Please help me live my life for you. Thank you for your forgiveness and the gift of new life. Amen.”
