Alex Loukinen

Pastor Alex joined the Verndale Family Life Church staff in July 2026. He is passionate about leading the next generation to Christ and partnering with parents to help students grow in their faith. His life motto, “See the Unseen,” reflects his heart to make sure every person feels loved, feels safe, and feels God.

Alex graduated from Little Falls High School in 2021 and attended North Central University alongside his wife, Courtney, from 2021 to 2024. He became a licensed minister in April 2025. Before coming to VFLC, Alex served as Youth Pastor at Hope Community in Buffalo, Minnesota, for four years.

Alex and Courtney’s story began in kids church. As each other’s first and only crush, they became childhood sweethearts and married in 2023. They are blessed with their daughter, Jane, and love serving the next generation together.
